A long time between posts

A discussion about the Pirate Sisters is going down on the ComicsAustralia forums. Here's a link to the thread.

Also, Sabotage on the Ulga is now available from Impact Records and Dee's Books and Comics, both in Canberra. Actually, they've been there a while, I just didn't tell anyone about it.

I'm a bad person.

Sabotage on the Ulga lauched at Supanova

Well, I'm back from Supanova! Sabotage on the Ulga is officially launched. It was certainly an experience being on the side of the table doing the selling rather than doing the buying (although I did an awful lot of that too). We (my fiance 'Monkey' and I) couldn't help but feel somewhat shafted with the location of our table. We ended up down a corridor leading to nowhere. On a slight incline. I knew we were near the end, but seeing it in person it was so much crappier. That left a bad taste to the whole con for us. Socialising with fellow comic creating nerds was GOLD, and of course I sold some Cosmic Corsairs. I was hoping to sell more than the 20-odd I did, but I think that's pretty good considering our location.

In other news, Sabotage on the Ulga is now available for purchase online from Phase Two Comics! By buying it from there you support not only me (which I know is your primary concern), but you also support a brand new site supporting lots of cool Australian talent (which I know is your secondary concern).

So, in summary, Cosmic Corsairs is out there in glossy glory! Hope youse like it.

Interviewed

It was some weeks ago now - but I didn't have this site then. Aaron Burgess of ComicsAustralia interviewed me about Cosmic Corsairs. Made me feel all important AND famous! Sadly, if you've just heard about me, you missed the opportunity to say you knew me before I was big and since then I've become a total snapper-head.

Read the interview here.
